Latest 7.3 Launch Delivers Single Sign On For Secure and Efficient Business Communications

SSO_BannerWe are pleased to introduce the availability of Single Sign On (SSO) authentication in the RingCentral 7.3 release. RingCentral Single Sign On integrates easily with any Identity Provider who supports the latest industrial SAML 2.0 (Security Assertion Markup Language 2.0) such as PingFederate, Okta, or your homegrown Identity Provider.

Several benefits with Single Sign On authentication enabled:

  • Ability to enforce uniform enterprise authentication and/or authorization policies across the enterprise
  • Remove the needs for users to manage multiple passwords with a single set of credentials to access multiple apps and tools
  • Improve user experience through automatic login
  • Usually results in significant password help desk cost savings

With Single Sign On turned on, RingCentral Office customers can log in with one set of validated credentials to access multiple work applications and tools. RingCentral Single Sign On leverages the stability of your network, using a centralized authentication point to provide better user security and reduce phishing activity over a company’s network.  Users will be able to securely log in automatically to RingCentral with their company credentials, removing the need to remember additional passwords, while reducing your team’s workload assisting users with password recovery.

RingCentral Single Sign On is available to all RingCentral Office Premium and Enterprise customers in US and Canada. Single Sign On works with RingCentral online account, RingCentral for Desktop, RingCentral mobile app, and RingCentral Meetings.
