Adding a RingMe Button to Your Email Signature
If you’d like to make it easy for people to dial your business number through the emails you send, this info is for you.
Simply follow the steps below to add a RingMe button to your email signature so your email contacts can call you with the press of a button.
All you need to do is obtain the RingMe (RM) button and a snippet of HTML code from your RingCentral account, then insert those two items into your email signature (ES) window.
Step 1. Have both your RM and ES windows open, so you can switch back and forth. To find the RM window in the Cloud Touch interface, navigate to your online account, click the Tools tab and click RingMe.
Step 2. Click the “Select a button style” button and pick the button you like. Right-click on it and select “Save picture as” to save it to your computer.
Step 3. Go to your ES, click the “insert image” button and browse for the saved image. Select it and click Insert or OK.
Step 4. Go back to the RM window and select “Generate: URL (Hyperlink) Only”. Then copy the URL.
Step 5. On your ES, click the RingMe button that you just added.
Step 6. Click on the “insert hyperlink” button and paste the URL you copied from your RingCentral online account.
Step 7. Click OK.
You may want to test everything out by sending an email to yourself. The RingMe button in your email signature should now launch a RingMe window when clicked.
