If you haven’t registered yet for RingCentral’s first-ever user conference, ConnectCentral 2016, there’s still time. But don’t wait too long.
From September 12–14, ConnectCentral will be the epicenter of UCaaS learning, training, in-depth immersion into current and emerging UCaaS technology and solutions, and professional networking. And, as is always the case in San Francisco, big fun.
The ConnectCentral agenda covers a lot of ground, including presentations from RingCentral executive leadership and product managers, conversations with RingCentral integration partners, as well as workshops and breakout sessions designed to help you:
As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, we’ve invited several very special guests to join us and to share their experiences and perspectives with us about cloud communications, business trends, and how each of us can help drive the success of our respective organizations.
On Wednesday morning, the 14th, Doug Leone, Managing Partner of Sequoia Capital, will kick off the day with remarks about accelerating disruption.
Doug’s knowledge of the technology industry is extensive. With a BS in mechanical engineering from Cornell University, an MS in industrial engineering from Columbia University, and an MS in management from MIT, he has a panoramic and granular understanding of both technology and business. Prior to joining Sequoia Capital, Doug held sales and sales management positions at Sun Microsystems, Hewlett-Packard, and Prime Computer. Suffice it to say, he’s seen how technology can change the way businesses and consumers work and interact.
Here’s a little taste of Doug’s perspective on technology and business:
I’m interested in the increasing rate of change, caused by technology, in all market segments.
The old adage that, ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,’ does not apply to Sequoia Capital. It’s the exact opposite. If something is working like a dream, we modify it, we try to break it, because competitors and new entrants will try to find new ways to beat us.
I’m sure Doug will give us plenty of great information and insights to think about and put to work long after ConnectCentral 2016 is over. You won’t want to miss him.
We’re looking forward to welcoming you to ConnectCentral 2016 on September 12th.
