5 Android Apps For Mobile Productivity

1. Evernote: FREE

The ever popular Evernote will change forever your perspective on note-taking. The app enables you to type in notes and then organize them through folders and tags. You can also attach images through your phone’s camera and save entire web pages including text, images, and links. All notes are stored in the cloud and synced across all configured devices, allowing you to access and search your notes from anywhere. A paid premium version with even more bells and whistles is available.

2. Box: FREE

Box is a free cloud storage service that lets you save up to 5GB of data so you can later access and share them from any synced device including your computer. The other wonderful thing? Box is integrated with RingCentral: you can send faxes of your Box documents through your RingCentral account.

3. CamCard Lite: FREE

CamCard Lite is the ultimate digital rolodex: the app takes a picture of a business card, then transcribes that information into your contact list. Brilliant.

4. My Work Clock: FREE

This is a clock-in/clock-out app for tracking work hours — a favorite for professionals who bill hourly. Track hours by day, week, and month and email reports as a CSV file.

5. RingCentral: FREE

We couldn’t omit our very own Android app given its popularity among RingCentral business customers. The app puts your RingCentral phone system on your Android phone: make and receive calls with your business phone number as your caller ID, send and receive faxes, and monitor voicemail messages. Last but not least, you can make and receive VoIP calls using your Wi-Fi or 3G/4G LTE data connection.
