RingCentral Helps Resnick & Louis Law Painlessly Connect 11 Locations

Louis, is a law firm specializing in insurance defense, construction defect, commercial litigation, general liability, surety, life and disability litigation, labor and employment law, health care defense, bodily injury defense, worker’s compensation, hospitality and retail, business and corporate law. The firm is headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, and has multiple locations in Albuquerque, Bakersfield, Denver, Las Vegas, Irvine, Phoenix, Riverside, Sacramento, Salt Lake City, and San Diego.

Resnick & Louis began with just a handful of employees. The founders made the decision to start their own law firm and were not previously involved with any IT related decision making. Jennifer Boldi, practicing Attorney at Law, was referred to RingCentral by a friend, and thus the firm chose RingCentral as their business phone system. As the company grew, RingCentral was implemented at each of its 11 office locations nationwide.

“Our firm began with seven employees and we have since grown to sixty,” Boldi says. “Implementing and scaling with RingCentral has been an overall easy process even though we do not have any IT experience.”

The attorneys at Resnick & Louis are licensed to practice law in several states. With RingCentral’s call grouping, the attorneys can have all calls forwarded to one number, even if they have several local phone numbers in the areas they practice law. Many of the general phone calls received are routed from the Scottsdale office and each office location interacts with one another on a regular basis.“We like to have a presence in every state that we practice law in, even if we are not physically at that office location at a given time,” Boldi says. “It doesn’t matter if person is the next room or another state, with RingCentral we can dial someone via extension or transfer calls to them quickly and easily.”

The employees at Resnick & Louis have found several of RingCentral’s features useful. With 60% of the employees being a mobile workforce, the firm needs a business phone system that is reliable and flexible. The employees at Resnick & Louis enjoy having the ability to check voicemail messages, change account settings, send faxes and take calls when they are away from their desks or out of the office simply by using the RingCentral Mobile Apps. “We have a lot of tech savvy attorneys at our firm,” says Boldi. “We love using the mobile app when we need to get work done remotely between hearings and when we are on the road. We also like using the online interface—it’s really convenient and easy to use.”
