It’s that time of year again—we’re introducing a set of RingCentral Office updates to help you get more done, whether you’re a team of 20 or 20,000.
Here’s a quick look at what’s new:
RINGCENTRAL APP
Status updates and more
The RingCentral mobile app now lets you filter messages by unread, @mention, draft, and failed messages. We’ve also updated the Meet tab so you can connect your calendar to view, join, and schedule meetings in one place.
In the desktop app, you can now use a combination of text and emoji to get creative when sharing your status. We’ve also added a convenient new button in the Meet tab that lets you share your screen directly from the app using a proximity sensor, sharing key, or meeting ID.
CALL HANDLING
Less waiting, more doing
We’ve got a super helpful new call queue enhancement to ensure callers aren’t left hanging. You can now route calls in your queue to alternate extensions when a maximum hold time is reached. Those alternate extensions can be another call queue, an IVR menu, an announcement-only extension, or a message-only destination.
MEETINGS
Gathering feedback just got easier
For those wondering what your meeting attendees are thinking, we’ve got an update for you—polling now allows hosts to create single- or multiple-choice questions for attendees. Now, feedback is just a few clicks away.
ANALYTICS
Turn data into insights
Put your data to work with new Quality of Service (QoS) and device alerts. Admins can set up custom alerts that proactively notify of call quality and device status issues that could impact your teams. New Adoption & Usage Analytics give you a deep dive into usage data to identify areas of improvement and discover ways to help you get the most out of RingCentral.
