The May release of RingCentral Office includes new team collaboration integrations, global communications solutions, and more. Visit our new product release page to learn about the latest enhancements to your RingCentral Office, RingCentral Meetings, Global Office, and RingCentral Connect Platform solutions today.

Improved multi-site management

We are continuing to build out capabilities to make it easier to manage multi-site deployments. Let’s say you manage multiple locations in your RingCentral account. A customer calls your warehouse in Denver looking for the sales team, which is actually in your Chicago office. The new multi-site switchboard feature allows your call attendants to easily filter company contacts by site, enabling quick call routing to the right person anywhere in the company, delivering a better customer service experience.

Expanded RingCentral Meetings capacity

In the May release, RingCentral is also expanding capacity for video meetings. RingCentral Meetings increases participant capacity from 50 to 100 for RingCentral Office Premium customers and from 75 to 200 for Office Ultimate customers.

Enhanced Google Workspace integration

Also in this release, we are further enhancing our deep integrations with Google Google Workspace. The new RingCentral for Google Chrome Extension enables easy access to key RingCentral features without ever leaving your browser. The RingCentral Phone tab is now accessible from any web page, enabling inbound call notifications, inbound call handling features, and presence settings from anywhere.

We’ve also partnered with Google for the launch of the new Google Hangouts Chat. Instantly promote chat conversations into face-to-face video calls so your teams can stay productive. Just add the new RingCentral for Hangouts Chat bot to any Google Hangouts Chat Room and use simple command prompts to seamlessly initiate RingCentral audio and video conferences from directly within your team chats.

International expansion

We continue to expand our global capabilities with this release. With the addition of Japanese and Brazilian Portuguese, RingCentral now supports 10 local languages for global users. Japanese and Brazilian Portuguese speakers can now easily select their languages to be applied across all their RingCentral user interfaces.

Having launched the industry’s first domestic Business SMS feature, RingCentral is once again leading the charge by bringing you International SMS. Now, you can send text messages using your business number globally, across all your devices. All of this is available to RingCentral Office customers today. We invite you to take advantage of these enhancements so you can enjoy the best possible communications and collaboration experience, from RingCentral.
