Columbia University Teachers College

For 125 years, The Columbia University Teachers College, the largest and most comprehensive graduate and professional school of education in the United States, has educated nearly 100,000 people from around the world. We’re excited to announce that they have chosen RingCentral over legacy on-premise competitors as their unified cloud provider for the institution’s communication and collaboration.

Columbia was looking to employ a world-class solution designed for their 1,700 faculty, staff and resident students to communicate easily across mobile devices, tablets, desktop computers, and even desk phones.  Prior to moving to the cloud, Columbia was unable to offer a business phone service with key features such as mobility, multi-channel communications, and built-in integrations. But by selecting RingCentral, Columbia can ensure they have access to the most advanced enterprise-grade communications to increase their efficiency and productivity.

We’re customizing our offering to suit the needs of Columbia, giving their students a product that provides easy extension dialing and quick dialing to key student resources, such as on-campus security.  The deployment is currently underway and will be supported by our implementation team who will assist Columbia’s IT personnel in a smooth roll-out. Columbia is one of the best examples of an education institution that is relying on RingCentral, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to bring them aboard.
