RingCentral is the #1 global unified communications and contact center solution, and today I’d like to place special emphasis on the global aspect of that accomplishment.
With more than 15,000 channel partners worldwide, RingCentral recognizes the importance of collaboration to bring the power of intelligent, connected experiences to businesses of all sizes. These partners are absolutely essential to our mission, and we support them through a global network of people and resources collectively known as the RingCentral Reach™ partner program.
Our international approach
Within the channel, supporting global customers from enterprise on down means tailoring our partner strategy to each individual region, offering different go-to-market models that best fit local norms. We respect the time and effort our partners have put into building their business, so we want to support them in running it their way.
One example of this is the IGNITE! sales model, which grants partners the freedom and control to own and manage the entire customer lifecycle independently, without any RingCentral involvement. In doing so they can quickly pivot to address customer or market needs, while enjoying extra incentives and economic benefit.
Another example comes from the public sector, where regulations require a unique engagement model versus traditional customers. In instances like these, we’re always open to exploring new ways to contract with our partners so they can get the job done—it’s all about flexibility to make it easier on the partner.
RingCentral in Europe
Each year, this strategy continues to prove fruitful, yielding growth and momentum. Within the RingCentral Reach partner program, Diamond and Gold partners represent the top 0.5% of our partner base globally. Within those Diamond and Gold partners, 16% are now based in Europe, and that number continues to grow.
Recently, we hosted top partners from across France, Germany, and the UK at our European Partner Roundtable, the first time we’ve brought together such a wide representation of RingCentral’s international relationships. While the strategic discussions and future plans laid were exciting, what really stuck with me was some of the success stories we shared, both on the partner and customer front.
For example, Diamond partner Maintel helped Bishop Grosseteste University, a 160-year-old institution, update its telephony for a more reliable, easy-to-use, secure system to support its educational endeavors—all with a cost savings of more than 60%.
And it’s not just customers reaping the benefits. Another Diamond partner, SCC now uses an integrated RingCentral UC+CC solution internally across 3,500 employees throughout Europe, as they realized the benefits of the platform could not only help their clients, but also their own communications.
Finally, I’d like to call out a successful partnership years in the making, as RingCentral was named the Modern Workplace Vendor of the Year at the 2023 Bytes Vendor Awards.
RingCentral in Australia
Similarly, our partners in Australia are experiencing strong growth and success as well, as we recently celebrated five years in the region, growing from a team of two to more than 40. Of our Diamond and Gold partners, 7% now hail from Australia, some of whom I had the pleasure of meeting at our Australian Partner Roundtable earlier this year. In doing so, I found their stories incredibly impactful, both in terms of customers they’ve helped and how they’ve built their own businesses.
One such customer success comes to us from Journey Beyond, who’s built a reputation for second-to-none customer service as Australia’s leading experiential travel company. To support this “Know Your Customer” strategy, they implemented an integrated RingCentral UC+CC solution to support their 13 tourism brands, unifying the entire company with one communications platform.
Separate from that win, but a remarkable story on its own: Gold Partner Ground2Cloud supported not only its business by partnering with RingCentral, but also the livelihoods of those behind it. Founder Carl Gough financed everyday expenses and his daughter’s college education through his company’s success with our solutions. What’s more, Carl also founded meetmagic.org, which has raised more than $1.5 million for charity to date—taking that success beyond business to give back to the local community.
It’s these types of stories that remind me why we do what we do. Because when you connect and bring people together, great things happen.

You can’t be the #1 global UCaaS and CCaaS provider without a strong network of international partnerships. While I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished to date, cloud adoption (in any region!) is still in its early stages, and we have a lot more opportunity to tackle together. Through the RingCentral Reach partner program, our goal is to give partners the tools and support they need to invest in their people and grow their business.
