Of the many reasons that brought me to RingCentral (just two weeks ago), one of the most important was finding a company whose values and beliefs matched my own. This meant an unwavering commitment to diversity and inclusion – a company where every team member feels comfortable bringing their best and authentic self to work – no matter age, cultural background, physical ability, race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation.

I am thrilled that my first post on behalf of RingCentral is about equality, the progress we have made, and the long journey ahead. For the second year running, RingCentral has achieved a 100% ranking on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index (CEI) and has been recognized as a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality. As a long-time ally of the LGBTQ+ community, I am truly proud. Thank you to every RingCentral employee who has made this possible – members of the community and every ally.

To our RingCentral LGBTQ+ team members? Please keep us honest. While this may come across as a celebration of small steps taken, it is as much an acknowledgment of the journey ahead and the ongoing struggle for equality. While I am thankful for the efforts here at RingCentral, I know there is always work to be done. This year RingCentral is among 686 leading companies out of 1059 to reach the 100% distinction. My hope for next year would be continuing on this path and see all 1059 companies join in!
