MANILA, Philippines – The 2020 HR Asia Awards have come and gone, and RingCentral is proud to announce we’ve been named one of the Best Companies To Work For In Asia. The coveted award was given to RingCentral in recognition of our world-class employee engagement and overall workplace excellence. Out of the 150 companies shortlisted, RingCentral rose to the top – proving that not even a pandemic could stop us from delivering for our people.

After bagging a Gold Stevie® Award in Innovation in Human Resources Management in Q3 of 2020, RingCentral never wavered in our commitment to bringing employee experience to the next level—pandemic or no.  The COVID-19 crisis hit the Philippines particularly hard—forcing numerous companies across different sectors to slow or even cease operations.  RingCentral was able to shift operations, recruitment, and employee engagement to the cloud in a matter of weeks. But we didn’t stop with the bottom line. Our #FunInTheCloud initiative, focused on maintaining the strength of our company culture, by keeping employees engaged with one another, even if they couldn’t be with one another. The #FunInTheCloud initiative included a wide range of activities – from parties and awards ceremonies to specialized webinars devoted to mental health and leisure.

“This has been a tough year for all of us especially for businesses across the globe. We, at RingCentral Manila, have always had a very passionate, collaborative, and engaging culture. This year, it’s been put to a big test. And that’s why being named as one of the companies to work for in Asia is such a great honor. I dedicate this award to each and everyone RingCentral family member who chose to rise up to the new challenge of adjusting to the new norm, to the 100% work-from-home environment, to the hours and hours of RingCentral video meetings and endless Glip messages. This award is a testament to all your hard work and your resilience. To HR Asia, thank you very much for this award and we look forward to many more years of collaborating with you. Again, RingCentral family, congratulations! You are the true MVP of RingCentral. Maraming maraming salamat po!”

Kevin Williams, Country Manager of RingCentral
