With Mother’s Day coming up on Sunday, we’re delighted to share with you three stories of RingCentral customers who happen to be mothers as well as business owners.

Balancing a growing business and a busy household is no easy task. However, these moms have risen to the challenge and achieved success by combining their skills and dedication. (They’ve also gotten a little help from RingCentral along the way!)

Suzanne Blake Gerety

Owner, Editor and Co-founder of DanceStudioOwner.com

Based in New Hampshire, Suzanne works from both a home office and a dance studio, helping new and experienced studio owners nationwide who want to start, run or grow their businesses. She manages a team of 10 independent contractors – some of whom work virtually – and provides dance studio management resources 24/7.

With an 800 number from RingCentral, Suzanne starts building trust with her customers from their very first call. And with the ability to set call rules and get email notifications when calls come in, she is able to quickly respond to customers even when she’s running between meetings and events.

Like most mom entrepreneurs, Suzanne finds time management to be a challenge – so she leverages technology to let her carefully plan out her days. With two young children, she certainly knows what it takes to wear many hats, and is able to do it all while dancing, too!

Jessica Gwinn and Jennifer Oldfield

Co-CEOs, J&J Permits

With nine children between them, Jessica Gwinn and Jennifer Oldfield decided to launch a multi-state enterprise dedicated to helping truck drivers secure the permits they need to operate legally. Jessica is located in Sugar Land, Texas and Jennifer is in Oklahoma City. As a one-stop shop for their on-the-go clients, they have to keep on top of paperwork and filing, manage phone calls and faxes and still find time for their families.

RingCentral‘s fax functionality has been a key component to their success by helping them manage the permit filing process. By giving them the ability to send and receive faxes from anywhere, even on a family trip to Disney World, RingCentral gives J&J Permits access to the documents they need, wherever they need them.

Tanya Eldert

President of Local Kids Network, a division of Kidrev Inc.

Tanya Eldert launched the Local Kids Network as a way to support local communities, families and businesses while giving her the flexibility to homeschool her daughter and manage the day-to-day activities of family life.

Through her business’ interactive online family guides – which use videos of kids sharing news, reviews and things to do – she has grown her network to over 15 cities nationwide.

Working from Virginia Beach, Va., Tanya manages a team of 11 employees. RingCentral allows her to have a different extension for every location and salesperson in the company; she uses a virtual number in each city that is programmed to ring to the local manager’s personal cell phone.

Tanya is a long-time customer of RingCentral and is setting her sights on growing her business to 60 to 80 locations within the year – with a RingCentral extension and number in each state! Her husband also uses RingCentral for his first-aid training business.

With their focus on family, community, and helping others, we wish Tanya, Jessica, Jennifer and Suzanne great success at achieving their goals. We’re proud to be able to help them as their businesses grow!Happy Mother’s Day from everyone at RingCentral!
