We continue to lead the industry as a pure play cloud business communications provider by staying on top of the latest features that add the greatest value, flexibility, quality and security. Here’s the most current updates to our flagship product with the launch of version 7.1.
Secure Voice ( Encrypted Voice)
In this release, we further strengthen our security with Transport Layer Security (TLS) and Secure Real-Time Transport Protocol (SRTP) encryption between endpoints on the network, including desk phones, conference phones, RingCentral mobile app and RingCentral for Desktop. With enhanced call encryption, RingCentral safeguards your business communications and prevents unauthorized interception of audio stream. Call Monitoring and Whisper
Managing, training, and supporting sales and support teams is now more efficient and productive. With RingCentral’s new Call Monitoring feature, supervisors can listen in, whisper to staff, join a conversation, and commandeer calls. As a supervisor of agents, you can ensure the highest quality of agent-customer interaction by delivering better coaching and training to your staff with access to your teams’ phone calls with customers in real-time. Call Monitoring is available for Office Premium and Enterprise Editions.
Now RingCentral customers on the Enterprise edition can benefit with the new Voicemail to Preview feature. Your voice message is automatically transcribed to text and shown on-screen along with the audio file. When you receive a voice message, you can read it in your email or in RingCentral on mobile or desktop – instead of listening to it. You will never miss an important message again!
Visual IVR Editor
RingCentral extends your Auto-Attendant capability by providing system administrators with an easy and intuitive graphical Visual IVR Editor to reduce misconfiguration and manual coding. With this new and easy to use tool, you can easily have centralized phone routing management for multiple locations/offices via cloud-based services or via mobile devices and tablet anywhere, anytime. The feature is available for Office Premium and Enterprise Edition.
International Toll-Free Numbers
RingCentral now offers additional International Toll-Free Numbers to all customers. You can expand to new markets and be close to your international customers by adding toll-free numbers from over 23 countries without setting up physical offices overseas. Configuration is simple. You can set up these toll-free numbers as your local caller ID’s. All calls to these numbers will be automatically routed to extensions in your home country. You can answer these incoming calls with your desk phone, RingCentral desktop app or mobile app. The benefit is businesses can now display an international toll-free number as their company phone number and allow customers to call a local number without a charge.

In this release, we’ve implemented some great improvements, and we think you’ll benefit from our enhanced security through Secure Voice, and improved productivity with features like voicemail-to-text and international numbers.
