About

Technology companies Knotch and Salesforce co-organized Pros & Content Connect 2020 to bring the business community together and discuss how to navigate the challenges of COVID-19.

The event was a two-day, online summit on June 24 and 25, 2020 for CMOs, CEOs, and marketing professionals. The event included panels, fireside chats, and TED-style talks with speakers like Ambassador Susan Rice, Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff, and Actress Gwyneth Paltrow.

Challenge

The Knotch and Salesforce teams faced two challenges when choosing a virtual event platform. They needed the event to feel as valuable and intimate as an in-person event, and they also wanted a platform that would allow them to run it themselves.

We wanted to simulate a physical conference and be able to run it ourselves as the organizers of the event.

—Chris Vitti, SVP of Knotch

Solution

Pros & Content Connect 2020 used RingCentral Events to launch the two-day, fully-interactive summit with 34 sessions, 11 booths, and 78 speakers.

CMOs from some of the world’s largest companies — like Coca-Cola, Hyundai Motor America, Petco, Mastercard, HP, LinkedIn, Heineken, Square, Forbes, and Walmart — met together at the summit to discuss their challenges, share tips, and tell stories. They discussed topics around brand purpose, leadership, content, events, inclusion, customer data, and more.

Result

The event had nearly 4,000 registrants, a very active chat with thousands of comments, and over 3,000 interactions across social channels.
