I started my career at Avaya, where I spent 19 years. Early on, I learned an eye-opening lesson. I believed products could be sold entirely on the strength of the brand and position of the seller. Trust could be formed by data and well-formulated arguments. What I found is that brands and facts are important pieces of the equation. But heart is equally important. The relationships we carry close convey the trust we need for making mission-critical business decisions – provider to partner and partner to customer.

Fast forward a few years and I’m now at RingCentral – on the frontlines of the unified communications cloud movement. I see how organizations are enabling their teams to engage, collaborate, and be productive.

Today I am excited to announce the merger of my past and present as Avaya and RingCentral further their partnership with general availability. Avaya Cloud Office by RingCentral (ACO) gives businesses an enterprise-grade, all-in-one cloud solution that delivers seamless collaboration across voice calls, team messaging, meetings, video conferencing, file sharing and more.
