People can find purpose in their work in other ways, however. Some derive satisfaction from doing work that they love, trying out new things, and expressing themselves. Social responsibility programs and philanthropic endeavors help employees make a positive impact on the world, although other ways exist that don’t require corporate-wide initiatives.
