At RingCentral, we believe our customers shouldn’t have to choose between their favorite business applications to work the way they want. That’s why we’ve partnered with Slack to bring RingCentral phone and video solutions into the Slack environment. Watch how RingCentral and Slack work together seamlessly to make remote work easier.

Meet now with RingCentral in Slack

RingCentral for Slack makes it easy to post RingCentral Video meeting and audio conferencing details directly into Slack channel conversations, using slash commands. Simply type “/ringcentral” to launch one of the three available options:

  1. callbegin an audio conference call
  2. meet—start a RingCentral Video meeting
  3. help—bring up a menu of commands the RingCentral bot can perform

Make calls from Slack: Leverage the new calling feature

In our most recent integration release, we’ve added even more ways to access RingCentral within Slack, including making outbound calls to any Slack contact using RingCentral. Simply click on the native phone icon, and select RingCentral as your method of outbound dialing.

Join with meeting cards

The phone icon also permits you to start a RingCentral Video meeting natively through meeting card invites. Once the meeting begins, participants can join via the posted meeting card.

And, after the meeting concludes, you can view details such as how many participants joined and how long the call lasted.
