This December, workplace culture experts Comparably revealed their end-of-year lists recognizing companies whose employees consider the best of the best in 2020, including categories like: Best Places to Work, Best CEOs, Best Companies for Women, and Best Companies for Diversity.

And it is with great honor that we share that RingCentral ranked near the top of all those awards:

Best Company for Diversity – #2

Best Overall Culture  – #5

Best Company for Women -#8

Best CEO  – #10

This isn’t a first for RingCentral – CEO Vlad Shmunis ranked #8 on the Best CEO for Women list, and #2 on the Best CEO for Diversity list. RingCentral’s high marks were no surprise. “The passion and engagement reflected in the latest Comparably awards is inspiring.” said Chief People Officer Gunjan Aggarwal. “Best CEO, Best Company for Women, Best Company for Diversity, Best Company Culture – all of these awards reflect what I see every day: a group of amazingly talented people doing amazingly talented work and supporting each other along the way. I’m honored to work here and hope to support our journey to get even better!”

Instructional Designer Devin Holub sees the practical steps the company takes making a difference. “RingCentral has always been supportive of women-led initiatives and making real changes for equality —like this year’s audit of salary discrepancies between men and women. It was incredibly transparent and leadership communicated how important it is to them that people are paid equitably for the same job regardless of race or sex.”

SMB Content Development Lead Grace Lau agrees. “I’ve always felt supported and free to be myself—things like being able to dress how I want and talk openly about my partner with colleagues and friends may seem small, but they’re things that many queer folks don’t take for granted. They’re precious because so many companies don’t offer this kind of supportive environment. And it always starts with leadership at the top.”

We’ve said it over and over again: Culture is the key to RingCentral’s success. By stepping up our diversity and inclusion efforts and truly #workingtogether, we are able to attract amazingly talented, enthusiastic people. People who will continue to keep RingCentral the #1 leader in cloud communications.

We are humbled and grateful to be included on Comparably’s prestigious Best Places lists. And hope to do even better next year!
