At RingCentral Bulgaria, we know that success isn’t just about writing great code — it’s also about building a vibrant, connected community. This spring, our teammates stepped up and stood out at several exciting sports events, showing the same energy, teamwork, and spirit that define our work culture.

Accedia table tennis tournament

In early May, ten of our colleagues took part in the Accedia Table Tennis Tournament, held at Olympia hall in Sofia. Representing RingCentral across four leagues — Beginners, Intermediate, Advanced, and Women’s. Our team played with great energy and team spirit in every match.

The two-day tournament welcomed players from tech companies across Sofia for friendly but fierce competition. Whether they were first-time participants or experienced players, our teammates gave it their all and made us proud. And a big shout out to our colleague Olga Nosova, who took first place in the Women’s league!

Srednogorie bike challenge

On May 25, six teammates took on the Srednogorie Bike Challenge, a 50+ km cycling route through the scenic Sredna Gora mountain region. The course passed through villages like Belopoptsi, Baylovo, Smolsko, Mirkovo, and Chelopech, finishing in Zlatitsa.

A special shoutout goes to Tatyana Grigorkevich, who secured third place among all female participants. Her determination and performance were truly inspiring — a great example of what happens when passion meets persistence.

Tatyana commented:

“I came here to compete — I had been, as a matter of fact, preparing for this competition. But knowing how serious racers compete, I was hoping to end up in the first 10. Then I crossed the finish line and as it turned out, I arrived in the top three! The road itself was really scenic, and it was a good mix of challenging and enjoyable, with a 600 meters ascend throughout the race. The last bit of the road I had to pass through the pouring rain — what a cinematic end of the competition!”

Business Run Sofia

On the first of June, 16 of our RingCentral colleagues competed in Business Run Sofia, one of Bulgaria’s largest and most popular corporate relay races. Held in Sofia’s business district, the event brought together hundreds of professionals for a day of energy, excitement, and team pride.

Of course, it wasn’t just the runners making an impact — many colleagues came out to cheer, celebrate, and support their teammates. Valeria Ivanovskaya was among them, here’s what she shares about the Business Run:

“All our people did a great job: they arrived pumped and energetic, ready to give their best, and they were not only competing, but supporting other teams too.”

We were thrilled to see Team RunCentral finish in second place in the Power Walk category. Their coordination and effort earned them well-deserved recognition among dozens of teams.

In the words of Aleksandr Rekuts, who was a part of the winning team:

“I enjoyed the event from the very beginning to the very end: the hustle, the emotions, the scale of it. Once we started the race, I immediately realised the victory won’t be a piece of cake, as my legs were getting heavy from the strain. But we managed to keep the leading positions and finish in second place — which was an exciting outcome!”
