RingCentral Receives Frost & Sullivan 2019 Market Leadership Award

We are pleased to announce that, for the third time, global research firm Frost & Sullivan has awarded RingCentral with the honor of the 2019 Market Leadership Award in the Hosted IP Telephony and Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS), North America report. RingCentral received the highest total score in the 2019 Frost & Sullivan Radar, which is based on innovation and growth using ten distinct evaluation criteria. In the 2019 report, Frost & Sullivan recognizes RingCentral as the clear market leader, with over 2,000,000 users globally and a compound annual growth rate of 33 percent. Regarding our product, Frost & Sullivan stated: “RingCentral has evolved considerably over the years while remaining committed to its vision to deliver comprehensive, secure, and reliable communications solutions to businesses. Its success is predicated on its ability to identify and embrace important mega trends and adjust its products and strategies accordingly.” Frost & Sullivan also noted RingCentral’s ability to cater to mobile workers and dispersed teams. The report states, “RingCentral enhanced its portfolio to meet the requirements of global businesses with geographically dispersed teams in need of globally harmonized communications capabilities and robust collaboration tools (such as video, file and screen share, persistent messaging, etc.) that help keep employees connected and productive.”

RingCentral’s commitment to stay ahead in technology, adding new portfolio developments and additions, is central to creating the most advanced feature sets in the market. Regarding our contact center offering, Frost & Sullivan stated, “RingCentral has made important investments in building out its contact center practice, including a significant support organization, dedicated sales, and marketing resources, and a contact-center-focused professional services team. The company has enabled unique integrations between its UC and contact center products”. 

Lastly, the report highlighted RingCentral’s relationships with AT&T and Avaya. Regarding Avaya: “This partnership leverages the respective strengths of each company, aligning Avaya’s strong market presence and worldwide go-to-market capabilities with RingCentral’s leading global UCaaS platform.”
