On March 27, we came together in Xiamen to celebrate a meaningful milestone — the 15th anniversary of RingCentral China — under the theme “Ring a New Chapter.”

What began in 2011 as a small team has grown into a key R&D hub supporting RingCentral’s global innovation. This celebration was more than a look back at how far we’ve come. It was a moment to recognize the people behind the journey, the ideas that shaped us, and the momentum carrying us forward.

One Team, One Celebration

To mark the occasion, employees from across China including colleagues from Hangzhou gathered in Xiamen. The energy in the room reflected something deeper than a milestone. It was a shared sense of pride, connection, and belonging.

We were also honored to celebrate alongside global leaders. Alex Shteyngolts and John Marlow joined us in person, sharing insights and connecting with teams on the ground. At the same time, Vlad Shmunis and Kira Makagon sent their congratulations, along with warm messages from colleagues across our global offices.

It was a powerful reminder that while we work across regions and time zones, we move forward as one team.

When Innovation Comes to Life

Innovation has always been part of our DNA and this celebration brought it to life in a very real way.

One of the most memorable moments of the day was the debut of our AI agent digital human prototype, who took on the role of event host. Built by our own engineers, this AI agent didn’t just appear on screen but interacted, responded, and demonstrated what the future of AI-powered communication could look like.

It was a moment that captured both the creativity and execution strength of our team, a glimpse into how ideas can quickly become reality here.

Beyond Code: Creativity on Stage

While technology played a central role, the celebration also revealed another side of our team.

From high-energy performances to creative stage productions, employees brought passion and personality to the spotlight. Teams competed, collaborated, and cheered each other on, turning the evening into something far beyond a typical corporate event.

It was a reflection of who we are, not just builders of technology, but individuals with creativity, energy, and a strong sense of community.

Celebrating the People Behind the Journey

At the heart of the celebration was recognition.

We honored long-tenured employees who have been part of the journey from the early days, as well as outstanding individuals and teams through our annual awards, all selected with strong participation from employees across China.

Moments like these matter. They remind us that behind every product milestone and innovation breakthrough are people who make it happen.

As the evening came to a close, one message stood out clearly: this milestone is not an endpoint, but a starting point.

We also announced the launch of our 2026 Hackathon which is an initiative that continues to encourage experimentation, creativity, and bold thinking. It reflects a mindset we value deeply: the willingness to try, to build, and to push boundaries.

Fifteen years ago, RingCentral China began as a small team with big ambitions. Today, it stands as an integral part of our global innovation engine.
