We’re excited to announce an expanded collaboration with Google Cloud to bring AI-driven enterprise communications and customer engagement capabilities directly into the Google ecosystem.
The announcement includes the general availability of its flagship platform RingEX™ for Google Chrome and the upcoming launch of RingEX, Customer Engagement Bundle (CEB) and AI Receptionist (AIR) on Google Cloud.
Together, these updates extend RingCentral’s communications capabilities across Google Workspace, Chrome and Google Cloud, making it easier for customers to collaborate within their existing workflows.
“Our expanded collaboration with Google Cloud reflects a shared vision for the future of work—where communications are intelligent, seamless, and embedded directly into daily workflows,” said Carson Hostetter, EVP & GM, CX & AI, RingCentral. “From transforming the browser into a collaboration hub to delivering our platform on Google Cloud, we’re making it easier for businesses to harness AI to drive productivity and better customer experiences.”
Transforming the browser into an AI-powered collaboration hub
Designed for Google Workspace and ChromeOS users, RingEX for Chrome brings a full-featured communications experience directly into the browser—eliminating the need to switch between applications and embedding enterprise-grade calling, messaging, and AI into everyday workflows.
With native integration across Google Workspace, RingEX for Chrome enhances productivity with intelligent features designed for modern workflows, including:
- In-workflow calling and meetings: Start and schedule voice and video calls directly from Google Docs, Sheets, Gmail, and Calendar with a single click.
- Unified communications in the browser: Access calls, voicemail, SMS, and fax within a single interface—eliminating the need to switch between apps.
- AI-powered productivity: Automatically capture call notes, generate tasks, and compose messages—reducing manual work and keeping teams focused.
- Context-rich interactions: Ensure conversation context follows every call transfer, improving both team collaboration and customer experiences.
- Scalable team engagement: Manage high-volume communications with shared SMS inboxes and queue-based call handling.
- Real-time presence and collaboration: See teammate availability instantly and connect with the right person faster through an intuitive heads-up display.
Together, these capabilities turn the browser into a central hub for communication and collaboration—deeply integrated with the tools employees already use every day.
