In May our team joined one of the major IT conferences in Bulgaria: JPrime. This two-day conference is a celebration of everything Java-related—we were thrilled to join the vibrant community gathered there.
Organized by the Bulgarian Java User Group and supported by the biggest companies in the country, JPrime is a true celebration of tech, engineering excellence, and curiosity. The conference featured a combination of international speakers and top talent from within Bulgaria.
With around 550 participants, JPrime has established itself as a must-attend event for those looking to connect with the local IT community—and RingCentral was proud to be part of it. As event sponsors, we set up an engaging booth where attendees could meet our team, learn more about our company, and have a little fun along the way.
Over the course of two days, seven of our colleagues represented RingCentral at the booth, bringing great energy and a strong sense of community. We kept things interactive with a company quiz and a quickfire game of hoops, giving participants the chance to win RingCentral-branded water bottles, tote bags, and frisbees.
But beyond the giveaways and games, the experience was just as rewarding for our own team. Here’s what Roman, a Senior Developer at RingCentral Bulgaria, shared about his first time representing the company at a conference booth:
“It was an interesting experience to be on the other side of the conference. It was my first time participating as a booth staff member. We were a big enough team, which gave me the chance to attend some of the talks. I really enjoyed the experience — it’s great to see this kind of energy and movement happening in our industry.”
Alongside the booth presence, several team members also took part in the conference’s tech talks. Hristo, a Fullstack Developer at RingCentral Bulgaria, reflected on the depth and relevance of the sessions:
“I appreciated the mix of deep technical talks and practical advice, especially around topics like performance tuning, Spring ecosystem updates, and new features in recent Java versions. I particularly enjoyed the sessions on Java performance tuning, modern patterns in Spring Boot applications, and real-world cloud architecture examples. One of the most memorable talks was by Ram Lakshmanan, who shared real-world examples on how to maximize the performance of Java applications. It offered both technical depth and practical takeaways. The opportunity to hear directly from experts and ask questions in person made the experience even more valuable.”
A huge shoutout to our team for making this event a success. Conference season is just getting started, and we’re excited to continue showing up, connecting, and celebrating tech across the region.
