How to Leverage the Critical Capabilities report in your purchase decision

In conjunction with its highly anticipated annual Magic Quadrant report, Gartner just published its 2020 Critical Capabilities for Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS), Worldwide report which evaluates 14 UCaaS vendors across five use cases. Intended to be used in tandem with the Magic Quadrant, the Critical Capabilities report is designed to help IT professionals evaluate vendors when making a purchase decision.

Adoption of UCaaS was rapidly increasing as we came into 2020 and then the pandemic hit. Suddenly the ability to work from anywhere was not just desirable, it was business-critical. Now more than ever, companies are turning to cloud communications to keep their employees, customers, and partners connected.  We are also seeing companies who initially adopted multiple solutions for team messaging, video conferencing, and voice telephony seeking an integrated cloud communications platform that is secure, intuitive, and more cost-effective to use and manage.

In 2020, RingCentral was named a Magic Quadrant Leader for the sixth year in a row and ranked #1 across all five use cases in the Critical Capabilities report. The five use cases are; Midsize Enterprise (100 – 999 employees), Large Enterprise (over 1000 employees), Mobility and Remote Working, Integrated Contact Center, and Multinational Organization. We are honored and humbled by this recognition given the comprehensive nature of this report which examines 10 critical capabilities selected by Gartner.

We attribute this recognition to our relentless focus on serving our customers and a continued focus on rapid innovation that delivers integrated Message, Video, Phone (MVP) capabilities so that people can easily and securely work from anywhere.

We recommend using both the Gartner Magic Quadrant and Gartner Critical Capabilities reports as a resource when selecting a UCaaS vendor. Because we want you to have access to all the tools to make an informed decision, we are offering you a complimentary copy of both the Gartner Magic Quadrant and Gartner Critical Capabilities reports.
