The most valuable real estate in tech? The most prestigious address? San Francisco? Silicon Valley? To us, it’s a small, exclusive patch at the upper right corner of a little place called Gartner’s “Magic Quadrant.” A place we have called home for seven years – consecutively – as RingCentral has yet again been named a Leader in the Gartner annual evaluation for Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) Worldwide report for 2021.

In our world of work changed forever, UCaaS has never been more critical as it is today. Your employees want and need to be able to work from anywhere. Sometimes at a moment’s notice. This has brought us to the single most significant inflection point in the history of digital transformation. At RingCentral, we want to ensure everyone can connect, communicate and collaborate from wherever they are. UCaaS is the starting point. One that takes traditional communications infrastructure to the cloud and provides you with the backbone for a new digital reality.

It’s about driving the human experience – tailoring it to wherever work may find you. Your work. Your way. Your pace.

We believe technology has the ability to make a huge impact by tailoring the experience to wherever work finds you – from one moment to the next. We are focused on powering that experience across four key areas…

Seamless MVP (Message, Video, Phone)

The lines between collaboration and communication have blurred. On phones, in apps, and on the web. In order to enable the ‘work from anywhere’ workforce, communications must be seamless and ubiquitous. Siloes get in the way. That’s why we have designed our MVP platform to unify the experience across messaging, video, and phone – placing them on a single platform rather than in disconnected applications. Our goal? Simplicity and effortlessness – empowering your employees to do their most productive work.

New Age of Voice

During the forced work-from-home experiment of 2020, many organizations embraced video as a primary enabler of company culture and employee engagement. The catch? Our customers have told us that voice communication was – and continues to be – the most critical factor to business continuity. Voice is vital to a productive video meeting. In fact, you cannot have meaningful collaboration without a solid voice connection. Having pitch-perfect audio is more important than ever.  It’s the ‘must-have’ of the experience.

And our voice capabilities are enterprise and carrier-grade. It’s why customers come to us to support their communications. And it’s why major service providers partner with us to deliver reliable communications to their business customers globally.

Open Platform

We live and work in a mix-and-match, integrated world where companies want to create custom solutions that perfectly fit their needs. Our open platform effectively brings together all the ways people can work. We call it – your work, your way.

We have been doing this for years now. We build our products from the ground up with composability in mind. Our open platform with no-code, low-code, and pro-code communications APIs is key. It’s why we’ve won “Best Communications APIs” from API World for 3 out of the past 4 years. And we are committed to continuing to give customers the building blocks they need to run and grow their businesses.

Converging Platforms for Employee and Customer Experience

We have a long history of market firsts. Merging UCaaS and CCaaS is one of them. We partnered with NICE CXOne over six years ago to bring contact center capabilities into our UCaaS platform. We understood that bringing together the employee and customer experiences into one platform would yield tangible business outcomes.

In fact, we surveyed customers to learn the business value derived from using our UC + CC platform. The results? Our customers received a 46% increase in employee satisfaction, a 46% increase in customer satisfaction, and a 26% average revenue growth. Incredible outcomes! And we look forward to bringing intelligent innovation to drive even more connected human experiences for the future.

For us, this humbling recognition by Gartner is emblematic of the trust that our customers place in us every day. We’re helping to ensure business continuity and ‘keep the lights on’ for a rapidly growing portion of the world’s workforce.

We are eager to help enable the infinite number of human connections the future holds. As a technology company, we consider it our responsibility for the future.
