Building a great work environment isn’t a traditional project with a start and end date. It’s a journey that requires time, patience, partnership and a willingness to listen and learn. What makes that journey worthwhile, and ensures progress continues, are the milestones and accomplishments you touch along the way.

Glassdoor, one of the world’s largest employer review and recruitment marketing destinations, today announced its 2021 Employees’ Choice Awards honoring the Best Places to Work in the US, which ranks companies based on feedback from employees directly. We are incredibly proud to see that RingCentral is ranked number 18 with an overall rating of 4.4 out of 5. Yet we know there’s much more work to do.

Fostering an inclusive and connected workplace has been a core value with which our employees dealt with all the transitions and changes brought about by 2020. We are grateful to our employees for recognizing that, because embracing a work-from-anywhere culture isn’t just a message we tout, it has always been in our DNA. As we continue to navigate a world where a hybrid work model becomes the new norm, we will continue supporting our employees with tools that connect and engage, wherever they may be.

Ranking quite high on a Best Places to Work during an extremely challenging year is an incredible achievement and I’d like to extend a huge thank you to our employees who took the time to share their experiences and feedback on the culture they work so hard to build and maintain at RingCentral. 2020 was unique and demanding in many ways and that’s what makes this recognition so special. It showcases that our employees have a strong belief in our vision and our commitment to fostering a workplace of excellence, even as they continue to work from anywhere — whether that’s at home, in a coffee shop (socially distanced, of course), or anywhere in between. A few examples of what our employees had to say about us on Glassdoor that contributed toward this recognition are below:

“I’ve been at RingCentral for a year and don’t have one negative thing to say about this company. From day one, I have been welcomed and appreciated for my work (big or small) and the team culture is unlike anything I’ve experienced before. They truly want you to thrive and be happy!”

“Company is ranked 1st for 6 consecutive years in Gartner’s UCaaS list, has 1B in cash and recently started a venture arm to continue to invest in our developer and platform community and products. A lot of growth potential. Autonomous environment. Everyone is willing to help each other with no egos. As a product manager, I feel supported with the resources (eng, design, data) I need to set myself for success.”

In addition to our position on Glassdoor’s ranking, RingCentral was also granted four awards from Built In, an organization that rates companies algorithmically based on their compensation, benefits, and culture programs. Among these awards include:

We are very grateful to our employees for their dedication, contributions and feedback that makes RingCentral a great place to work. If we can thrive during the challenges of 2020 I can’t wait to see what we achieve this year.

Thank YOU!
