And if you want to know who is on the other line, you can command the auto-attendant to speak to the caller and ask for their name. With the Call Controller installed in your PC, you can manage all incoming and outgoing calls, faxes and voicemail messages from any PC. Screen callers, answer calls and dial out through your PC with the Call Controller. Every time there is an incoming call, a popup window displays in your monitor. If the number is stored in your contacts list, their name will be displayed as well. Aside from caller ID, you can also have the auto-attendant ask the caller to speak their name or purpose of calling. You can listen in through your computer speakers, and pick up the call after. You can also reject the call or send it to voicemail if you are unavailable. When you want to say something to the caller but do not have the time to converse with them, you can type in a text-to-speech message which will be read by the auto-attendant by the caller. Another option is to route it to any phone number, such as an employee or a difference department. With advanced call forwarding and answering rules, you can set which numbers would receive the calls.
