Europe Gets an Essentials Update to Rainbow Office

Companies are constantly adapting to shifting employee and customer expectations. During the past two years, these shifts have been even more frequent, with little time between each.

Since the switch to remote working in March 2020, countries moved in and out of lockdowns, and businesses worldwide faced the pressures of supporting dispersed workforces. For many employees and leaders, this has been the most difficult of times.

Burnout, productivity and security remain top concerns for organisations. Now more than ever, as companies continue to navigate change, workers need to connect and collaborate easily using a trusted platform.

While there is no quick fix, organisations can adopt a secure platform that makes communication more straightforward. This can be as simple as using a solution where messaging and phone are delivered through one, unified application.

Earlier this year, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise announced the availability of Rainbow Office powered by RingCentral in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Spain and The Netherlands, with UK availability in June 2021. Today, ALE launched a new entry-level service plan, called Rainbow Office Essentials, across Europe for businesses seeking the key features of a unified communications offering – phone and messaging – at an affordable rate.

What are the benefits for customers?

Powerful call controls: A complete cloud-based phone system with local numbers, extensions, call delegation, call screening, visual voicemail and more.

Effortless team collaboration: A single workspace for team messaging, file sharing, tasks and calendars.

Simple setup: Port existing numbers to your Rainbow Office account or create new ones instantly.

Keep track of all offices: Manage users, monitor call quality, dive into usage and control employee permissions – all in one place.

Connect every call: Set business hours, custom greetings and advanced call routing so you’ll never miss a conversation.

Exceptional security and reliability: Seven layers of security protect your data and communications. Service remains at the highest standard with a 99.999% available uptime SLA – representing only 5.26 minutes of downtime a year.

A solution that grows with you: Rainbow Office can keep up as you expand. Not only can you add users whenever you need to, but you can also seamlessly upgrade to higher tiers so that you can access additional collaboration capabilities such as video conferencing, at any time. In other words, there is something for all types of businesses.

With Rainbow Office Essentials now available in Europe, more of Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise’ customers can empower their workforce with messaging and phone calls from anywhere, on any device. In uncertain times, Rainbow Office offers customers some certainty that their businesses can keep operating cost-effectively and securely while giving employees the support they need.
