Patience and pragmatism. The hard-won lesson of 2020. We have learned to be patient as the pandemic continues to disrupt. As individuals, we juggle family and career. We now do it in close proximity without the – sometimes protective – physical boundary of an office. Work-life harmony has suffered. The companies we work for have faced seemingly insurmountable challenges.  And they have been forced into making pragmatic choices. In doing so, gaps have been exposed in an attempt to keep teams and customers connected, productive and engaged.

Business Communications Now More Important than Ever.

With patience and pragmatism has come understanding. The only path to business continuity begins with the ability to productively work from anywhere and that is possible only with cloud-based business communication solutions. And through this understanding, confirmation of the importance of communications to business success. Our mission has become more important than ever.  We keep people connected with cloud-based communications and collaboration solutions – on any device, from any location.

The New Reality: Working from Anywhere.

Potential vaccines now seem within reach. And with them, the glimmer of hope has shifted focus to how we will work post-COVID-19. But the reality of work has already changed forever. And it is hybrid. People will work in the office, from home, at the local coffee shop, the street corner, or somewhere in between. We will work from anywhere.

Many companies plan to permanently shift to some mix of remote work as a result of the experiences of recent forced isolation. This is a clear validation that remote collaboration can, in fact, work. Businesses are preparing for a new era of work – be it remote or in-office or a hybrid of both.

Partnerships Matter! Together with Vodafone Business.

For RingCentral, this is an opportunity. And when opportunity knocks, we are careful to never go it alone. We work closely with like-minded organizations. Those with the ability to enable work-from-anywhere at scale.

That’s why today I am thrilled to share some very exciting news. RingCentral has entered into a tremendous new partnership with Vodafone Business – the largest mobile and fixed network operator in Europe. Together, we are taking a mobile-first approach. Our goal? Bring mobile and office line users together in a way which has not been done globally and at scale before. And we are proud to be doing it with the flexible, easy-to-use, and secure solutions they need – team messaging, video meetings, and cloud telephony.

Choice is the currency of business success. That’s what we are bringing to organizations across Europe in partnership with Vodafone Business. The ability to choose. To customize their communications services with mobile-first, enterprise-grade messaging, video and voice. To support their workforces today and in the future. After all, flexibility and mobility are the key to business longevity.

Playing Our Part.

As we move forward to a new normal – as we adapt to new realities – we all have a role to play. RingCentral is honored to play whatever small part we can in our customers’ journeys toward success. And we are privileged to have an amazing ecosystem of partners – like Vodafone Business – who clearly aspire to play a similar role.

As we look toward a brighter future, let’s acknowledge that the journey is just as important as the destination. We will get there – together.
