Current SMS Rates

The following rates reflect current messaging rates when sending from the United States RingEX accounts to United States or Canadian numbers.  Rates are subject to change due to changes in the industry.  For rates for SMS and MMS originating from Canadian RingEX accounts please click here.

Industry rules require that every number be successfully registered with the SMS registrar prior to being used for SMS.

Registered SMS

“Registered SMS” is defined as SMS or MMS sent or received from/by (1) numbers that are assigned to a Campaign that is fully registered with The Campaign Registry (“TCR”) and in good standing, or (2) toll-free numbers that have properly completed Toll-free Registration.

Outbound messages will be billed upon successful delivery of the message to our messaging provider; however delivery to the intended recipient by the far-end provider is not guaranteed.

Unregistered SMS

“Unregistered SMS” is defined as any SMS or MMS sent or received by (1) a number that has not been assigned to a Campaign that is fully registered with The Campaign Registry (“TCR”) and in good standing, or (2) a toll-free number that has not completed Toll-free Registration.

RingCentral may attempt to deliver SMS sent from unregistered phone numbers at its discretion, however unregistered SMS are excluded from the monthly allotment and any purchased SMS bundles.  Messages that RingCentral attempts to deliver but that are rejected by aggregators or mobile carriers will be charged at rates listed below.
