RingCentral call screening lets users become in complete control of their incoming calls. Through advanced call screening tools, calls are sifted and identified before they are even answered. RingCentral screening options also include call blocking, eliminating unwanted callers from wasting call costs and time. Users may be permanently block specific phone numbers, or entire area codes. This eliminates calls from areas which are not included in the scope of a business. Alternatively, subscribers may enter a list of numbers allowed to call the business. This is highly beneficial if the virtual PBX is used only among employees and within the team. This also enables subscribers to answer important calls and send to voicemail those that can wait. The RingCentral call screening feature lets subscribers see who’s calling through their caller ID and contact name. Microsoft Outlook contacts are recognized by the Call Controller since it is integrated into the phonebook. Users may configure their auto-attendant to prompt callers so say their name, and you can listen in through the Call Controller, letting you identify the caller better. Calls may be answered, rejected or sent to voicemail. Users may also enter a text-to-speech reply in the Call Controller, and the message would be read by the auto-attendant.
