The RingCentral Mobile call screening service enables users to identify callers even before a call is answered. The auto-attendant facilitates the call screening process by sending users the name and number of the callers. It also works with the RingCentral Call Controller by displaying a pop-up window when there is a new call. Users can then choose to answer, reject or send the call to voicemail, based on the information displayed. And since RingCentral is integrated into Microsoft Outlook, existing email contacts and their phone numbers are also recognized by the call screening feature. Users may enter a text-to-speech reply to callers by typing in a message in the Call Controller and having the auto-attendant read it to the caller. Through the computer-generated voice of the attendant, callers are given information about their call, instead of simply being sent to voicemail or being dropped. This saves users time and call costs, and also provides callers with the attention that they need. Users may also listen in as the caller speaks their name and purpose of calling when they are asked by the auto-attendant when out of the office and on the road, u. When a call comes in to your RingCentral number, the auto-attendant identifies the call and sends the number or name of the caller to your phone’s display or our exclusive Call Controller pop-up window on your computer. You can also have the auto-attendant ask a caller to state his or her name, which you will hear through your computer speakers or by phone when the call is sent to you for screening.

Since RingCentral is completely integrated with Microsoft Outlook, when one of your Outlook Contacts calls, you will see the person’s name as the screening information.

Whether on phone or computer, you’ll have the option to answer the call, reject it or send it to voicemail, or you can type a quick reply that will be translated to audio and read to your caller by our auto-attendant’s computer-generated voice.
