Manager, Web Development/Operations

Great opportunity to work at a rapidly growing, venture capital backed company, which provides Voice-over-IP (VoIP), hosted PBX, voicemail and fax solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for web development and operations of the main corporate site within the LAMP platform
• Manage an offshore team of engineers and QA personnel
• Collect and analyze requirements coming from business stakeholders, provide feedback to business team and discuss technical solutions
• Plan and coordinate team efforts to assure quality implementation
• Prioritize the tasks to meet product and project schedules
• Track the progress and provide updates to the management

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or similar
• 3+ years managerial experience
• Demonstrated experience in business requirements analysis, software architecture and programming (PHP and JavaScript)
• Demonstrated experience in design and implementation of complex commercial system(s) with high availability requirements
• Proficient with LAMP platform as a development and deployment platform
• Experienced with agile-type rapid development and deployment
• Experienced with CMS development
• Excellent ability to learn systems and processes by reading code
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Self-starter, does not require a lot handholding
• Bilingual in English/Russian

Desired Qualifications:

• Experienced in programming in Java or C++
• Experienced with SOAP and XML technologies
