Engineering Manager/Architect

This position is for an individual who is brilliant at coming up with fresh ideas, finding practical solutions for business requirements and likes working in dynamic and challenging environment.

Responsibilities:

• Grow and manage global teams of engineers
• Collect and analyze requirements coming from business stakeholders, create software design, provide feedback to business team and discuss technical solutions.
• Plan and coordinate team efforts to assure quality implementation.
• Prioritize the tasks to meet product and project schedules.
• Track the progress and provide update to the management

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or similar.
• 3+ years managerial experience.
• Demonstrated experience in business requirements analysis, software architecture and programming.
• Demonstrated experience in design and implementation of complex commercial system(s) with high availability requirements.
• Proficient with OOD and UML
• Proficient with Java service side and front end technologies.
• Proficient with DB.
• Proficient with UNIX and Windows as a development and deployment platform.
• Experienced in programming in Java, C++
• Experienced with SOAP and XML technologies.
• Experienced in telecom. technologies
• Excellent ability to learn systems and processes by reading code.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent self-starter.
• Bilingual in English/Russian.
