Job Description

The Design Team Manager will manage RingCentral’s design vision and initiatives across all channels including website, advertising, marketing collateral and event marketing. This person will be responsible for translating business and marketing objectives into creative strategies, designs and plans. We are looking for a talented designer who has a strong design vision and has managed multiple projects in a high growth company.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development of the project work plan and manage a creative team
• Set design parameters and stylistic guidelines consistent with the brand guidelines and online acquisition best practices
• Review creative proposals, oversee production, and analyse resources and availability of creative personnel
• Effectively manage priorities, people, time and multiple projects simultaneously
• Define the creative concept, design and technical execution on team projects
• Conceptualize all online creative experiences using existing and non-existing resources and materials
• Provides ongoing recommendations for site design and user experience improvements
• Lead projects, critique work and approve final design executions prior to sharing with executive team
• Ensure all artwork conforms to design specifications and meets or exceeds artistic standards

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 7-10 years professional experience
• Experience working with a creative team at an agency or Internet company preferred
• Online, SaaSand/or telecom experience
• Exceptional aesthetic sense and intuitive understanding of online design principles
• Demonstrated ability to oversee complex projects simultaneously while meeting program objectives, timelines, and budgets
• Required to be capable of switching between creative and critical thinking
• Skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark, InDesign, PPT, HTML, Javascript, etc.
• Ability to think creatively within deadlines and pay acute attention to detail
• Demonstrated effectiveness developing strong relationships with inter-company divisions
• Ability to lead creative calls and presentations with internal partners and clients
• Exceptional written, verbal, and especially visual communication skills
• Portfolio/examples of previous/current work required
• Ability to think smart and move fast mentality
• Must work well under pressure as a self-starter, handling multiple tasks
