Channel Sales Manager - Resellers & Agents

The Channel Sales Manager - Resellers & Agents will be responsible for recruiting and managing national Master Agents and Strategic Resellers in support of an emerging reseller and agent program. This individual should have a proven history of successfully recruiting, signing and on-boarding major Telecom Master Agents and Strategic Resellers. You will be expected to leverage industry knowledge and contacts to create an immediate impact in our rapidly growing channel business. You will identify, recruit, sign, on-board and manage these strategic partners to meet and exceed sales goals. In addition toa proven track record, you should possess good problem solving skills, high energy and motivation, and the can-do attitude to make a difference in a fun, fast paced company. Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and sign national Master Agents and Strategic Resellers
  • Manage and own executive relationships with partners
  • Understand partner’s business and how RingCentral can services can enhance their value proposition
  • Negotiate and close new partner agreements
  • Manage ongoing agent training, marketing, and overall enablement programs
  • Provide day-to-day support for RingCentral Channel Partners to help them sell, implement and support RingCentral’s services
  • Work cross functionally with other team members to deliver on company goals
  • Drive requirements and help develop sales tools and materials for the Channel
  • Act as internal advocate to ensure partner and customer satisfaction
  • Participation in industry events such as trade shows and seminars
  • Exceed revenue objectives

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • 10+ years of channel sales experience in the telecom industry
  • 5+ years experience in the technology space, previous SAS or hosted VoIP segment is preferred
  • Experience in working with Small Business end customers is preferred
  • History of great decision making, planning, and execution to results
  • Established master dealer and agent contacts in the telecom industry
  • BS or BA from an accredited university
  • Ability to excel in a team-oriented, collaborative, and fast-paced environment
  • Negotiated and closed reseller agreements with CXO level executives
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to convey and relate ideas to others
  • Willingness to travel
  • Vibrant and energetic attitude, willingness to perform and get things done
