With the improved Call Controller, you can control what happens to a call after it’s been forwarded to your Follow Me/Find Me numbers. In the latest version, if you do not pick up a call and it is being directed to another number, you can still Accept, Reject, Reply To (text-to-audio), or send the call To Voicemail through Call Controller. You can also change the amount of time callers wait before they are forwarded (see Additional Call Forwarding Option: Choose Waiting Time below).

Direct dial number login (Multiple Extensions only)

direct dial

This new addition to the service enables you to use a direct dial number (Additional RingCentral Phone Number) assigned to an extension to login into your RingCentral account.

Instead of using your Master RingCentral Number + Extension Number (e.g., 888-555-1212, ext. 4), you can simply use your direct dial number when logging in from the web or from your RingCentral Call Controller (Menu -> Properties -> Account Information).

For example, if you’re attempting to log into Ext. 2 of Master Number 800-555- 5555, and you have mapped the Additional Number (415) 555-1212 to Ext. 2, you can simply enter (415) 555-1212 when you login into your account. Your password remains unchanged.
