You can also change the amount of time callers wait before they are forwarded (see Additional Call Forwarding Option: Choose Waiting Time below).

Direct dial number login (Multiple Extensions only) >>
This new addition to the service enables you to use a direct dial number (Additional RingCentral Phone Number) assigned to an extension to login into your RingCentral account.
Instead of using your Master RingCentral Number + Extension Number (e.g., 888-555-1212, ext. 4), you can simply use your direct dial number when logging in from the web or from your RingCentral Call Controller (Menu -> Properties -> Account Information).
For example, if you’re attempting to log into Ext. 2 of Master Number 800-555- 5555, and you have mapped the Additional Number (415) 555-1212 to Ext. 2, you can simply enter (415) 555-1212 when you login into your account. Your password remains unchanged.
New Call Controller and Fax Configuration Options >>
The new Call Controller software includes a centralized menu to control options for sending faxes.
In one convenient location you can select direct or mail fax delivery, control your scanner, edit your personal information for the cover page, specify Dialing properties, and enable direct faxing from Microsoft Office.
You can invoke this menu by selecting Fax Options… in the RingCentral Internet Fax’s Tools menu or via the Fax Tab in your Call Controller’s Properties menu.
Inform your Contacts >>
This convenient feature helps you to inform your customers, colleagues, and friends about your new phone and fax numbers. It only takes 3 easy steps to update your contacts. First, select existing contacts from Outlook or Outlook Express Address books. Next, Personalize your message. Finally, send your message.
RingCentral will securely deliver your message to your selected recipients. The information provided will not be used or shared with any 3rd parties.
The Inform Your Contacts Wizard is started automatically after you install or re-install the Call Controller software. Also, you can run it at any time from Call Controller’s main menu.
One-click faxing from within Microsoft Office Applications >>
The latest version of the Call Controller simplifies sending faxes from Microsoft Office applications.
It adds RingCentral Fax button to the main application toolbar and extends the “File -> Send To” menu with “Recipient using RingCentral Internet Fax”. These new enhancements reduce the task of sending a fax to a single click of a mouse.
You can enable and disable this option via a check box on the Fax options tab in your Call Controller’s Properties menu.
Blocked Numbers List >>
This new feature blocks undesirable callers from bothering you or driving up your communications cost. You can block calls from particular phone numbers, or prevent all calls from selected area codes, pay phones, and calls without Caller ID from reaching you. Callers from blocked numbers will hear a “mailbox full” message. To control your blocked phone numbers, select Blocked List from Preferences menu in your account. In order to use this feature you need to login into your Master Account number (without specifying extension).
Account Overview Page >>
The new account overview page offers a convenient way to keep track of your account and your communications. It displays recent messages and faxes, and a log of recent phone calls. In addition, the Overview page gives you an at-a-glance look of your account status and will show you service and account specific alerts and messages.
PDF format for incoming faxes >>
You can now receive the incoming faxes in Adobe PDF format. This popular format will let you read your faxes on any computer or PDA with Adobe Reader (available free at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html).
To change your fax format settings, login into your RingCentral Online account and choose Fax Settings from the Preferences menu.
