Craig Grella wanted to unify remote employees. He did that with RingCentral and now his business has a more professional image.

Cornerstone Funding Services is a small business involved in big deals: a consulting firm helping to develop and build large commercial developments such as condominium complexes, hotels, shopping malls, city subdivisions, and the like. It has six employees working at different locations around the country.

And it has Call Controller, which allows me to monitor calls on my desktop.”

Grella doesn’t stop in his praise of RingCentral. He uses many of the features and gets value from them all.

“The ability to fax is great. It is the most intuitive online fax program we’ve found. And the integration with Microsoft Word and other Microsoft products is great, too. All I need is a broadband connection, and I can send a document on the fly.

“We love the RingMe [click-to-call me] feature. We send out a lot of digital packages to banks in .pdf format. We copy the RingMe code into the Word docs and pdfs. People click directly from the document to call our office. It is an awesome feature.”

Grella likes more than the features.

“RingCentral takes very little maintenance,” he adds. “I’ve had PBXs before and always ran into problems. We had to have people come out and fix them. RingCentral has been so easy in terms of operability, it’s allowed us to focus on our core business activities and not system maintenance.”

What Grella likes most is that RingCentral adds quantifiable value to his company.

“We spoke with a major bank just the other day,” Grella says. “This bank wanted to know how big we were. ‘Looking at the presentation and the ability to call you directly from a document gave us the impression that you have a lot of money to spend on marketing and technology, so you must be a big company,’ they said. So RingCentral helps makes us look much more professional, much bigger.”

Grella is happy to be a RingCentral customer and can’t say enough good things about it. “Telecommunications systems are usually a problem and they can quickly become a headache,” he says. “Sometimes phones are down for a week. With RingCentral, you really have the piece of mind that your phones are always going to be on, that you can program it to work your way. This is the best phone service we’ve ever had.”
