Richard Borenstein

Richard Borenstein is Chief Strategic Partnerships Officer at RingCentral, a leading provider of AI-powered global enterprise cloud communications, collaboration, and contact center solutions. Richard leads the company’s global business development organization with responsibility for driving growth across the company, expanding RingCentral’s reach to over 400,000 customers, totaling 6 million users, across 46 countries. 

A veteran business cloud communications professional with a fervor for rapid growth, recruiting and partnership building, Richard has built a vast, global executive network and a proven history of cultivating enduring, strategic partnerships with the largest SaaS players. Richard's expertise extends from market penetration to acceleration, with a keen focus on constructing high-caliber teams that consistently elevate revenue benchmarks.

Most recently Richard was SVP Strategic Partnerships at MURAL, and also served as the Chief Revenue Officer at Highfive, as well as holding key pivotal executive management roles at industry leaders such as Zong (acquired by PayPal), Baynote Inc.,  Airborne Entertainment (acquired by Cybird) and Bell Canada. Richard previously served as RingCentral’s SVP Business Development from 2014 to 2017, prior to returning to take up his current position in 2023.

As Chief Strategic Partnerships Officer, Richard will focus on global partner development and enablement and high-impact sales strategies to unlock new opportunities for transformative growth, including a deeper penetration into customer segments and industry verticals. He is skilled at building robust, high-performance teams and partnerships which will be pivotal in supporting RingCentral’s international expansion.

Richard holds a BA, Political Science, from McGill University.
