Each season brings a new opportunity to gather in fresh ways, and this summer, we gathered for a company-wide picnic in a scenic spot outside Sofia.<\/p>\n<h1 class=\"heading h3\"><a id=\"celeb\"><\/a>Celebrating traditions together<\/h1>\n<p>With a team that blends both local and international talent, we wanted the day to highlight Bulgarian traditions. For some, this was a new cultural experience; for others, it was a return to something familiar and meaningful.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-60275\" src=\"\/us\/en\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image7.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1999\" height=\"1333\" \/><\/p>\n<h1 class=\"heading h3\"><a id=\"day\"><\/a>A day of games, traditions, and shared moments<\/h1>\n<p>We kicked off the day with <b>The Shepherd Game<\/b>, where blindfolded participants guided their teammates using only invented sounds and signals. It quickly became a playful test of creativity, trust, and teamwork under pressure.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-60276\" src=\"\/us\/en\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1999\" height=\"1331\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The energy continued with a traditional game on <b>kokili<\/b> (stilts). Wobbly steps, cheering colleagues, and inevitable falls turned it into a challenge of balance and perseverance, with everyone encouraging each other to keep going.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-60277\" src=\"\/us\/en\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image1-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1999\" height=\"1333\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We kept the momentum going with the <b>Magic Carpet Challenge<\/b>, where teams had to move in sync while standing together on a single piece of fabric. It was a lighthearted reminder that progress sometimes looks messy from the outside but happens best when you work together.<\/p>\n<p>The program then shifted into cultural workshops. Teams blended fragrant herbs to create their own <b>chubritsa<\/b>, one of Bulgaria\u2019s most beloved spice mixes, and crafted <b>hurka ot prezhda<\/b> (yarn distaffs), connecting with traditions through touch and creativity.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-60278\" src=\"\/us\/en\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1999\" height=\"1333\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After a lively morning, our colleagues sat down for lunch to share stories throughout the day and enjoy the outdoors. A few brought out guitars, adding music to the atmosphere and turning the meal into a memorable moment.<\/p>\n<p>The afternoon workshops continued with bread-making, where teams kneaded dough side by side, laughed over flour-covered attempts, and discovered the craft behind one of Bulgaria\u2019s favorite staples.<\/p>\n<p>The cultural highlight of the day came when everyone changed into <b>nosii<\/b> (traditional Bulgarian clothes). Dressed in colorful outfits, teams joined light performances and sang traditional songs, creating an authentic celebration of Bulgarian heritage.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-60279\" src=\"\/us\/en\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1999\" height=\"1333\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To close, the entire group came together for a horo, Bulgaria\u2019s traditional circle dance\u2014a joyful reminder of the unity and spirit that connect us.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-60280\" src=\"\/us\/en\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image6.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1999\" height=\"1333\" \/><\/p>\n<p>See the fun in action!
