The organization\u2019s caregivers help thousands of people each year achieve greater levels of independence.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"heading h3\"><b>Outgrowing a legacy phone system<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fina Nash, SVP of Business Operations &amp; Innovation, explains that Bancroft operated for years with an on-prem phone system. As that system\u2019s contract approached its renewal date, Fina\u2019s team conducted a thorough internal review\u2014forming focus groups, surveying employees, and engaging a consulting firm\u2014to determine the organization\u2019s telephony needs going forward.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Their assessment revealed that Bancroft would benefit tremendously from a cloud-based, unified communications platform. That\u2019s making their lives easier and at the same time allowing them to be more responsive to coworkers and our external partners.\u201d<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Employees are also streamlining and improving their workflows and saving time with the built-in RingCentral Video. \u201cBefore COVID, we just didn\u2019t do virtual meetings. Our staff would often travel an hour to have in-person meetings. With RingCentral Video, those employees can easily have those meetings by video conference\u2014which means less time traveling and more time being productive.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"heading h3\"><b>Creating a better caller experience with RingCentral Contact Center<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While the organization was rolling out RingCentral\u2019s cloud-based phone, messaging, and video platform, Bancroft\u2019s marketing and communications department approached the IT group asking for a more sophisticated <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ringcentral.com\/contact-center.html\">contact center<\/a> solution for their admission team\u2019s support agents. For example, we\u2019ve improved our support and marketing operations with the Salesforce integration, enhanced security with the OneLogin integration\u2026 and we\u2019re using RingCentral APIs to build a custom integration with BetterCloud to automatically provision and deactivate users, which will save IT lots of time.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"heading h3\"><b>Cutting telephony costs<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Although Bancroft has added a tremendous amount of new functionality by replacing its legacy phone infrastructure with the cloud-based RingCentral, this migration is actually creating several money-saving opportunities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cA lot of our employees who had desktop phones chose to get rid of them when we showed them that they could get the same phone capabilities\u2014and many more, in fact\u2014from anywhere using the RingCentral soft phone, the web app, and the mobile.
