Here at RingCentral, for example, we\u2019re constantly looking at new ways to make virtual meetings <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ringcentral.com\/us\/en\/blog\/ringcentral-connect-video-conferencing\/\"><b>smarter and better<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, with new features to boost engagement, accessibility, and productivity in every session.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With enhancements such as live transcription, virtual whiteboards, intuitive meeting controls for hosts, and the ability to join meetings from anywhere and everywhere, the virtual meeting experience is eclipsing meeting in person.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><b><a id=\"workers\"><\/a>5. Workers will revolt against too much monitoring\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The combination of remote work and the tracking capabilities of cloud solutions might cause privacy concerns among workers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With cloud tools, companies will be able to gain all sorts of visibility into what happens when people work remotely, including insights into when they work or even how engaged they are in meetings.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But just because you can measure it, doesn\u2019t mean you should measure it. Workplace researchers have long recognized that trust is critical to employee engagement and performance. Over-monitoring, meanwhile, sends the opposite message, and creates the risk of potential worker backlash.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><b><a id=\"business\"><\/a>6. Business leaders will train bots<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you\u2019ve ever dealt with an annoying chatbot that couldn\u2019t<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">even figure out what you were asking, then you\u2019ve experienced the problem of poorly implemented AI.<\/span><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bots have many benefits, but just like humans, they need training to refine and improve their performance. This will require some hands-on assistance from business leaders\u2014for example, reviewing bot conversations with customers and teaching the bots which responses yield the best results.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><b>Leading the cloud communications movement<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the end of the day, one thing is certain: cloud communications has a lot of room to grow. That\u2019s true here at RingCentral as well.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We\u2019re already building out the next generation of communications: voice biometrics in our phone and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ringcentral.com\/contact-center.html\">contact center<\/a> solutions, and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ringcentral.com\/us\/en\/blog\/ringcentral-mvp-meeting-ai\/\"><b>artificial intelligence<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in our video conferencing solution.
