Together, RingCentral and Avaya will jointly develop programs to leverage Avaya\u2019s global sales and partner network, as well as build automated technologies for seamless customer transition to RingCentral\u2019s leading global UCaaS solution.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The announcement, made October 3, 2019, will result in the creation of a new solution: Avaya Cloud Office by RingCentral, a customized solution based on RingCentral\u2019s Office suite. Avaya Cloud Office will bring RingCentral\u2019s leading UCaaS platform to Avaya\u2019s installed base of over 100 million users and over 4,700 partners, providing long-term growth opportunities for both companies<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">News of the partnership was warmly received by market analysts and observers. Industry analyst Mark Smith called it, \u201c<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/marksmithvr\/status\/1179857195829059586\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8230; the biggest move in the UC market to date!<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201d NoJitter\u2019s Irwin Lazar called it, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nojitter.com\/ucaas\/avaya-ringcentral-partnership-cloud-wins\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cpositive for both organizations.\u201d<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> But perhaps the most glowing review came from Mad Money\u2019s Jim Cramer, who in an interview with RingCentral\u2019s CEO, Vlad Shmunis, called it the \u201c&#8230;biggest win I\u2019ve seen in 2019.\u201d Check out the full video below.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">As a result of the announcement, RingCentral stock rose over 28% in the first 24 hours, with Avaya also climbing 6.5%.
