Vendors, industry pundits, and influencers weighing in on the direction of the industry seem to agree on one point\u2014the promise of UCC is finally here.<\/p>\n<p>The promise of UCC needs to go beyond multi-modal communications in one place. Rather, it should be about what the cloud can do to transform the way people work. I\u2019ve said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailycloud.info\/perspective\/chat-and-presence-in-unified-communications-systems\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">before<\/a>\u00a0, that it\u2019s about unified experiences, not just unified communications. Our vision of this is coming to fruition by combining <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ringcentral.com\/lp\/gartner-magic-quadrant.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">best-in-class UCaaS<\/a>, team messaging and collaboration, video and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ringcentral.com\/small-business\/blog\/web-conferencing-video-conferencing\/\">web conferencing<\/a>, cloud <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ringcentral.com\/contact-center.html\">contact center<\/a>\u2014all served on an open platform, at global scale.<\/p>\n<p>As a company built in the cloud, RingCentral\u2019s mission is to deliver on the promise of a truly unified business communications and collaboration experience. As we continue to increase the robustness and functionality of our services, our approach is one that puts our customers at the center of everything we do, and allows them to communicate and work the way they want to, on any device. We\u2019re always raising the bar on the user experience we deliver and framing our efforts to best align with the success of our stakeholder community.<\/p>\n<p>Trends in digital business transformation are reshaping the future of the workplace and creating tailwinds, which is reflected in our 2016 results. We had many notable highlights in Q4, ending a strong 2016, including 38% YOY growth in Annual Recurring Revenue for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ringcentral.com\/office\/how-it-works.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">RingCentral Office<\/a>, and a 400% increase in our enterprise sales <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ringcentral.com\/us\/en\/blog\/sales-pipeline\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">pipeline<\/a>. Other key accomplishments include:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>We integrated <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ringcentral.com\/teams\/overview.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Glip<\/a> messaging and collaboration into our core RingCentral Office product. At this point, we offer the industry\u2019s first full UCaaS and collaboration solution.<\/li>\n<li>We deployed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ringcentral.com\/office\/features\/global-office-communications\/overview.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Global Office<\/a> in 30 countries, and it is now used by more than 600 customers.<\/li>\n<li>We expanded our <a href=\"https:\/\/developer.ringcentral.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">open platform<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ringcentral.com\/partner\/isvreseller.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ISV partner ecosystem<\/a> to more than 50 ISV partner integrations and nearly 500 custom workflow integrations.<\/li>\n<li>We added more advanced tools, reporting, and support capabilities to our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ringcentral.com\/contact-center\/overview.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">contact center solution<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>We launched <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ringcentral.com\/office\/features\/ringcentral-rooms\/overview.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">RingCentral Rooms\u2122<\/a> and Room Connector\u2122, our room video conferencing solution, to remove the complexity and high costs associated with traditional <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ringcentral.com\/us\/en\/blog\/telepresence-vs-video-conferencing-whats-the-difference\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">telepresence systems<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a href=\"\/blog\/?attachment_id=20962\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-20962 noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-20962\" src=\"\/us\/en\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/PR-Infographic-2016-Year-In-Review_24-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"PR Infographic - 2016 Year In Review_24\" width=\"640\" height=\"3176\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The UC market has reached an inflection point where the debate between on-premise and cloud is over, presenting RingCentral with a huge growth opportunity.
