The PBX required an actual human receptionist to direct calls, and it\u00a0didn&#8217;t support employees who were working in the field. That didn&#8217;t pass muster with the HP-certified tech support provider.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We were expanding &#8211;\u00a0hiring new employees both in our headquarters\u00a0and throughout the country,&#8221;\u00a0Sneha Crews, Checkpoint Technologies&#8217; office manager, told us. &#8220;Being\u00a0able to integrate both our in-office and\u00a0remote employees was essential to our\u00a0growth.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Further complicating the situation, Checkpoint Technologies was moving to a larger office space. The company&#8217;s decision-makers recognized that their old phone system simply couldn&#8217;t keep up with the changes that were taking place &#8211; so as Checkpoint Technologies prepared to move in 2012, procuring a new <a class=\"waffle-rich-text-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ringcentral.com\/solutions\/small-business.html\">business phone system<\/a> was at the top of its to-do list.<\/p>\n<p>Recognizing that a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ringcentral.com\/us\/en\/blog\/hosted-voip\/\">hosted<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ringcentral.com\/what-is-a-voip-phone.html\">VoIP phone<\/a> system would provide much more flexibility than an on-prem PBX, Checkpoint Technologies narrowed its search to hosted <a class=\"waffle-rich-text-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ringcentral.com\/what-is-a-voip-number.html\">VoIP<\/a> providers only. Ultimately, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ringcentral.com\/office\/how-it-works.html?bmid=BLOGNEW\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">RingCentral Office<\/a> provided the features the firm was looking for, at a price that was very attractive.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;From an auto-receptionist, to support for multiple direct lines, to advanced call handling features to\u00a0the ability to create remote lines, RingCentral&#8217;s\u00a0solution offered everything we wanted,&#8221; Sneha said. &#8220;And on top of everything else, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ringcentral.com\/office\/plansandpricing.html?bmid=BLOGNEW\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the pricing<\/a>\u00a0was much better.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Checkpoint Technologies is finding RingCentral Office&#8217;s mobile capabilities especially useful. Roughly a third of the business&#8217; sales team travels, and some salespeople spend more than half their time outside the office. For that contingent, RingCentral&#8217;s free <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ringcentral.com\/office\/features\/rcmobile\/app_iphone.html?bmid=BLOGNEW\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">iOS<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ringcentral.com\/office\/features\/rcmobile\/app_android.html?bmid=BLOGNEW\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Android<\/a> apps are a lifesaver.<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-11906\" src=\"\/us\/en\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/small__4585763335.jpg\" alt=\"small__4585763335\" width=\"320\" height=\"213\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;All they have to do is use the RingCentral mobile app to make and receive calls using their <a class=\"waffle-rich-text-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ringcentral.com\/business-phone-numbers.html\">business phone number<\/a>. When they leave the office, they no longer miss calls,\u201d Sneha explained.<\/p>\n<p>By rendering Checkpoint Technologies&#8217; sales staffers more reachable, RingCentral Office has greatly enhanced their productivity.
