We hope that RingCentral&#8217;s features\u2014such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ringcentral.com\/video-call.html\">video call<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ringcentral.com\/free-conference-call.html\">conference call services<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ringcentral.com\/virtual-call-center.html\">virtual call center<\/a>\u2014have served you well over the last 12 months.<\/p>\n<p>As we quickly approach year&#8217;s end, it may be that you have a special Black Friday promotion you want customers to know about. Or, your office may be closed over the holidays.<\/p>\n<p>Keep your customers in the know about what you&#8217;re up to with a custom announcement. Set it to play while customers are waiting for their call to connect.<\/p>\n<p>To add a custom on hold announcement, follow these steps.<\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0In your RingCentral account, click <strong>Company Settings<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Company Greetings<\/strong>. In the<strong> Company Business Hours<\/strong> row, click the <strong>New<\/strong> button.<br \/>\n2.\u00a0Enter a name for your message in the <strong>Greeting Name<\/strong> box.<br \/>\n3.\u00a0Record your custom message over the phone or import a message you already have. Just follow the onscreen instructions for either option.<br \/>\n4.\u00a0Once you\u2019ve added your message, go to <strong>Company Settings<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Company Rules<\/strong>. In the <strong>Company Business Hours<\/strong> row, click <strong>Edit<\/strong>.<br \/>\n5.\u00a0Click <strong>Edit<\/strong> again on the next screen.<br \/>\n6.\u00a0In the <strong>Play Company Greeting<\/strong> section, use the drop-down menu to select your custom message.<br \/>\n7.\u00a0Click <strong>Finish<\/strong> to save your changes.<\/p>\n<p>Your announcement is ready to go, and your holiday season is off to a great start.<\/p>\n<p>The team at RingCentral wishes you and your loved ones a happy Thanksgiving!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u2018Tis the season!
