View and forward faxes from anywhere with RingCentral’s mobile apps. Apps are free with any RingCentral plan.
For iPhone
Download the RingCentral App for iPhone from the iTunes App Store, if you haven’t already.
To forward a fax, follow these steps:
1. Launch the RingCentral app on your iPhone.
2. Tap the Messages tab.
3. Select a fax message by tapping it.
4. Tap the Forward button.
5. An email will open. In the “To” field, enter the recipient’s fax number followed by “@rcfax.com”. For example, 6505551234@rcfax.com
6. In the “From” field, make sure you select the email address that’s associated with your RingCentral account.
7. Click Send.
Voila! Your fax is on its way.
For BlackBerry
Get the RingCentral BlackBerry app free from BlackBerry App World.
Follow these steps to forward a fax:
1. Launch the RingCentral app on your BlackBerry.
2. Select the Messages tab.
3. Highlight the fax message you want to forward.
4. Press the BlackBerry menu key and select Forward. Please note: You must have an SD card in your device to forward faxes.
5. An email will open. In the “To” field, enter the recipient’s fax number followed by “@rcfax.com”. For example, 6505551234@rcfax.com
6. In the “From” field, make sure you select the email address that’s associated with your RingCentral account.
7. Click Send.
Forwarding a fax from your BlackBerry is that simple!
For Android
There are two ways to get RingCentral’s Android app:
1. Download the app on your Android phone now. Open Android Market on your Android phone, and search for “RingCentral.”
2. If you have a barcode reader, scan this QR code.
Follow these steps to forward a fax:
1. Launch the RingCentral app on your Android.
2. Select the Messages tab.
3. Select a fax message by tapping it.
4. Tap the Forward button.
5. An email will open. In the “To” field, enter the recipient’s fax number followed by “@rcfax.com”. For example, 6505551234@rcfax.com
6. In the “From” field, make sure you select the email address that’s associated with your RingCentral account.
7. Click Send.
