We are days away from Enterprise Connect 2018. As speakers prepare their final slides and travelers decide which shoes will hurt their feet the least after four days of walking and standing in booths, we want to turn our attention to the important social side of this event.

For over 26 years, Enterprise Connect has been the leading conference and tradeshow for the IT community. Finding time to connect with colleagues and key contacts is an important part of the experience. And to make that experience a little easier, we’ve created a list of favorite spots and key events so you don’t have to do the leg work.

Restaurant best bets

When you’ve been in sessions and on your feet all day, getting away for even a few minutes is a necessary reprieve. Here are a few of the restaurant options:

Breakfast
Holler & Dash: Casual, Southern-inspired fare.

Lunch
Big Kahuna’s Island Fin Poke: Fresh, local poke.

Little Greek Fresh Grill: Quick, satisfying option near the convention center.

Dinner
Bull & Bear: High-end, trendsetting steakhouse located in the Waldorf Astoria. Try the Tomahawk Steak or sous-vide fried chicken.

Homecoming Kitchen: A new restaurant that pays homage to Florida’s rich agricultural heritage. ant options:

Parties and nightlife

Kissimmee, Florida, might be home to a plethora of kid-friendly entertainment, but that doesn’t mean the only nightlife options available involve butterbeer in a Harry Potter–themed mug (though this is available). Here are a few of the best spots a short cab, Uber, or Lyft away from the Gaylord Palms.

Enzo’s Hideaway: Trendy,  speakeasy-style restaurant and bar.

Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar: 1940’s airplane hangar with a movie theme.

The Whiskey: Local restaurant and bar with an impressive selection of drinks.

Havana Nights: Mark your calendar to attend the exclusive “Havana Nights” networking event on Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. on the Gaylord Coquina Lawn, co-sponsored by RingCentral and NICE inContact. Space is limited, so RSVP today.

Booth Crawl in Expo Hall: Enjoy a drink and snacks on the Expo Floor from 4:00–6:00 p.m. Wednesday.
