stevie-silver-2016h Today, we are proud to announce that the 2016 Stevie® Awards for Great Employers has honored RingCentral with a Silver Stevie Award. Created in 2002 to recognize the achievements and contributions of organizations and working professionals worldwide, the Stevie Awards names honorees across seven programs, each with its own focus and categories. The Stevie Awards for Great Employers recognizes the world’s best companies to work for, as well as the HR achievements, new products and services, and suppliers who help to create and drive great workplaces.

Each entry was reviewed and rated by at least five judges who were approved as qualified by Stevie Awards staff. Ratings were assigned on a 10-point scale, and the entry in each category with the highest average score received a Gold Stevie Award. Entries with a final average score of at least 8.0 received the Silver Stevie, and all entries with a score of 7.0 or higher received the Bronze Award.

As someone who devotes a large part of her time to thinking about how to create an exceptional workplace, I’m delighted that RingCentral has been recognized for our considerable efforts to cultivate a workplace that empowers, engages, and supports our employees. Our mission as a company is to provide best-of-breed communications solutions to businesses, and we understand that to accomplish this we must invest in our employees, growing and adapting to cement our position as a leading modern workplace that attracts top talent.

We do this by promoting a flexible and diverse workforce; by advocating for teamwork and collaboration; and by fostering a community-service ethos. Our offices around the world are welcoming and inclusive environments, and we support our employees with generous office perks that include on-site dining and fitness options, and competitive and comprehensive benefits plans. We offer flexibility, mobile/remote communication solutions, and a strong sense of community to our worldwide workforce of 2,200.

These efforts have been recognized recently not just by the Stevie Awards, but also with such prestigious awards as the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Company and the Denver Post Top Workplaces 2015. You can read more about all Stevie Award winners in the Great Employer category here.
