We’re excited to announce the appointment of channel veteran Robinder Koura as Head of Channel Sales for EMEA. We’ve seen a lot of demand in this region for cloud communications solutions, and with a dedicated team on the ground, EMEA-based channel partners will be well positioned to deliver RingCentral solutions to a global customer base.
Having led the channel charge at Nortel Networks, and most recently, at Genband (where he worked for me for four years leading channel partner efforts for EMEA), Robinder will be focused on expanding the RingCentral Partner Programme in the United Kingdom and globally. He brings more than 25 years of experience in the IT space, and for the last 10 years, he’s been helping partners make the transition to selling cloud-based solutions and executing marketing campaigns across EMEA.
With experts predicting that cloud communications users will double between 2015 and 2018, there is a huge market opportunity for RingCentral. We have had great momentum bringing on new Master Agents and partners this year, and bringing on Robinder marks another step toward channel growth in the United Kingdom and EMEA. Our goal is to strengthen our partnerships with leading distributors and agents to extend our enterprise reach to the EMEA region. We couldn’t be happier to have Robinder leading the charge for our UK-based team as we arm partners with the cloud communications solutions their customers want.
My top priority continues to be the expansion of our Partner Programme. We want to give partners everything necessary to make them successful, and so we’ve built a programme that emphasizes channel harmony so everyone is made whole on commissions; we’ve revamped our partner portal; and we have dedicated partner support.
